Five daily guessing rounds.

How it works

Every day there are five rounds: a famous person, an animal, a place, a thing or a car, and a character from films, books, cartoons or TV. Everyone in the world gets the same five on the same day. After that, you can keep playing bonus rounds as long as you like.

Each round starts with one hard clue. If you don't know, ask for the next one. Each clue is easier than the one before. There are five clues per round, so the fewer you need, the better your score.

At the end you see all five answers and can share a small grid with your friends. It shows how many clues you needed, but it never gives away the answers.

What is in the game

Famous people from history, science, music, sport, film, art, books and exploration; famous cities; animals; and everyday things and inventions, from all over the world. We pick things that most players have a fair chance of knowing.

Every clue is written by us. If you think a clue is wrong, please tell us and we will fix it.

Fair play

• The answer is always free. You never have to pay or watch an ad to see who it was.
• Ads are shown around the game (above, below and on the sides on big screens), never between clues.
• The five clues are always free. You can choose to watch a short ad for an extra hint (the first letters) or, when you run out of clues, for one more guess. It is optional, and your shared result shows 💡 or ➕ when you used them.
• Your scores stay on your own device. You don't need an account.
